Whether disconnecting cable TV service, enforcing code violations or responding to service outages, field personnel often face irate customers. If workers are in the field by themselves, their personal safety is at heightened risk in these environments. GuardianMPS allows these workers to discretely set off a panic alarm if/when threats arise, allowing them to try to reason with irate customers knowing that an Emergency Response Center has already been alerted to the potential of a dangerous situation.
Field workers who operate in dangerous environments run the risk of injury on the job without the ability to call for help in many situations. GuardianMPS provides these workers with the ability to set passive alarms, where the service calls them requesting a PIN number at pre-determined intervals. If they cannot answer because of injury the system immediately ties into an Emergency Response Center that has all of their personal details, a live audio feed as well as GPS location information when notifying the proper local authorities.
Executives who travel need their personal security provisions to be mobile, reliable, discrete and convenient. By utilizing their existing mobile devices, Guardian MPS is easily accessible, acts in stealth mode during alarm states (phone looks shut off but is recording live) and connects directly either to in-house security staff or a trained Central Station Monitoring professional during alarm activation states.
Guardian MPS provides an easy-to-access mobile worker safety system that allows busy Senior Executives to travel with peace of mind knowing that someone always knows their whereabouts and can ensure they are safe at all times.

No. It is a good practice though, as starting up resets everything to its optimum configuration. When you first get your device it is preferable to leave it charging overnight so that any software updates can be sent.
The amber light will flash fast while booting up, then show 2 quick flashes every 5 seconds. This indicates the device is connected with the GuardianMPS server.
The blue light flashing indicates network and GPS communications. When connected to a 4G network, the device can connect the panic alarm call to our monitoring center. When the device sends us GPS coordinates, we can pinpoint your location. We give the location coordinates to the police if we need to dispatch them to help you.
The device will flash blue alternating as below:
1 Flash = GPS enabled, followed by;
3 Flashes = Connected to 3G
If the single flash is not showing, the device is not receiving GPS (typically due to buildings obscuring the signal). The device stores the previous GPS data even though new GPS data is not being received. That location will be sent to the response center. If the single blue flash cannot be seen, move to an outside position clear of tall building, that will ensure there is up to date GPS data.
To a point. It is rated to be splashed with water, but total immersion is not advised.
Depending on the response protocol, our monitoring center or a supervisor will try and contact you on your cell phone. In addition, the response service records any audio from the device. The response center can determine if there is a struggle, a code word or sentence being used, or just general background noise.
