High risk work environments left unchecked can be costly to an organization. Unnecessary costs and claims relating to sickness absence, decreased performance and workers’ compensation claims can be reduced by implementing a field worker safety solution such as Guardian MPS.
Whether disconnecting cable TV service, enforcing code violations or responding to service outages, field personnel often face irate customers. If workers are in the field by themselves, their personal safety is at heightened risk in these environments. GuardianMPS allows these workers to discretely set off a panic alarm if/when threats arise, allowing them to try to reason with irate customers knowing that an Emergency Response Center has already been alerted to the potential of a dangerous situation.
Field workers who operate in dangerous environments run the risk of injury on the job without the ability to call for help in many situations. GuardianMPS provides these workers with the ability to set passive alarms, where the service calls them requesting a PIN number at pre-determined intervals. If they cannot answer because of injury the system immediately ties into an Emergency Response Center that has all of their personal details, a live audio feed as well as GPS location information when notifying the proper local authorities.
Field service workers are mobile workers and need mobile security tools.
Guardian MPS field worker safety system provides reassurance to staff that they have a team 24/7 ensuring their safety.

Every day drivers, bikers and on-foot courier delivery agents carry billions of dollars of stock from suppliers to home and business customers, oftentimes subject to threats, abuse, violence and even co-ordinated hijackings and robberies.
Delivery and Courier drivers may be on the road, they may be carrying valuable cargo and they may even be more susceptible to workplace violence, but with GuardianMPS they are not alone. We are watching 24/7 for alarms and failed check-outs. If that happens, our system will co-ordinate a team of co-worker responders and the emergency services to get help…making them feel safer while on the road.

Guardian MPS field worker safety system provides reassurance to staff that they have a team 24/7 ensuring their safety.
Get a safety platform, not another device. They can transform any smartphone into a fully functional 24/7 mobile security system including panic buttons and configurable timers.
Have their panic alerts patched straight through to trained security personnel who know where the worker is located.
Don’t need to have their workers location or important details shared with 911 for rapid response. GuardianMPS maintains GPS fixes (on equipped devices), and provides information about the worker and their last recorded check-in.
Have access to our check-in system, where we can provide audio recordings up to and during an incident.
Have a chain of emergency response measures as they define them.

App
For organizations wanting safety coverage on existing worker phones — no extra hardware needed.
Higher-risk field workers who need a reliable, phone-independent panic solution that works even if their phone is taken, dead, or out of reach.
No. It is a good practice though, as starting up resets everything to its optimum configuration. When you first get your device it is preferable to leave it charging overnight so that any software updates can be sent.
The amber light will flash fast while booting up, then show 2 quick flashes every 5 seconds. This indicates the device is connected with the GuardianMPS server.
The blue light flashing indicates network and GPS communications. When connected to a 4G network, the device can connect the panic alarm call to our monitoring center. When the device sends us GPS coordinates, we can pinpoint your location. We give the location coordinates to the police if we need to dispatch them to help you.
The device will flash blue alternating as below:
1 Flash = GPS enabled, followed by;
3 Flashes = Connected to 3G
If the single flash is not showing, the device is not receiving GPS (typically due to buildings obscuring the signal). The device stores the previous GPS data even though new GPS data is not being received. That location will be sent to the response center. If the single blue flash cannot be seen, move to an outside position clear of tall building, that will ensure there is up to date GPS data.
To a point. It is rated to be splashed with water, but total immersion is not advised.
Depending on the response protocol, our monitoring center or a supervisor will try and contact you on your cell phone. In addition, the response service records any audio from the device. The response center can determine if there is a struggle, a code word or sentence being used, or just general background noise.
