Going to college can be a daunting prospect for both students and parents and ensuring the safety of a loved one through GuardianMPS can provide real peace of mind.

By connecting students to a 24/7 source of help and by monitoring their panic alarms, GuardianMPS helps make those at a university feel safer and helps to make an emergency response more efficient and rapid.

“The US University Campus Security statistics 2011 – with 3,396 sex offences, 2,400 aggravated assaults, 1,620 robberies and 16 manslaughters shows that student safety on campus is an issue to be taken seriously. (US department of education).”
  • Users have access to a Discrete Panic Alarm on their cell phone rather than relying on proximity to a campus “blue phone”. Panic Alarms connect users with campus security (and local police if off-campus), with information about the user, their location and a direct audio feed to a response operator
  • Guardian MPS provides “virtual escort” capabilities
  • Users log into the service and, if they don’t log out when programmed (i.e. arrived at destination), Guardian MPS sends an alarm notification to campus security
  • Whether used by a student, faculty member or college employee, Guardian MPS integrates with existing campus security and local police response teams to keep users connected at all times
